Ok, so tonight I picked up a 250gb laptop HDD at BestBuy and properly hacked it to function as an Xbox 360 HDD. Now, how could I back up all of my save game data from the now dwarfed 20gb HDD to my computer? I have an additional HDD plug inside my tower and I am getting another HDD power supply cord tomorrow (I don't know the proper name). If I hook it up with those two, I believe I can use a program called Xplorer360 Extreme to grab the data then use Xplorer360 250gb version for put it onto the new HDD. Does anyone have any experience with tamper with an Xbox 360 that could give me some pointers?

Thanks.

You're pretty much on the right track, Just plop it in with the sata cables and boot er up.

I used X360 and some other stuff to modify my gamerscore at one point in time, and this is exactly how I did it. They do make transfer cables so you don't have to pop open the cases, but not worth buying for a one-time use.

So I just hooked up the 20gb HDD to the extra cable and power port and got nothing. My computer recognized it in the drive manager but I was unable to find it with Win Explorer or Xplorer 360. I modded my gamerscore once with a flashdrive but MS reset me. I'm going to borrow a HDD transfer cable tonight as I couldn't get it to work with the computer. I have them all popped out now, but they're cake to put together/take apart.
