At least you spelled brake correctly. Well done, well done!

On the other hand, I don't see a question here, just a statement. Brakes do cause friction--yes indeed. Carry on my good man (or woman), carry on.

very likely you mounted the caliper incorrectly..
or to a disc that's too wide for the caliper you have.
the caliper must sit perfectly parallel to the disc (of course!)
and since that's a floating single piston caliper,
it's guide rods need to be perfectly clean and free of dents in order to not lock up on you when the brake is released.
Or worse you haven't considered for it's lateral movement with your mounting position.

So yeah, pics of YOUR caliper from a good telling angle.
best two.. with engaged and released brakes ;)

By all means, welcome to the forum just like Joe-405 said. All in good fun. ;)

However, we must insist on at least one decent photo of your problem area because pictures speak a thousand words (and all at once).

Alright thanks for correcting my ****ing typo I was in a hurry and had some work to do. However I fixed my problem. Since I was lazy I just decided to floor my kart and engaged my brakes at the same time until the brake pads wore down and were aligned.

Problem solving at its finest.

Brother, if you dont want to wate time, or money ....go for the braking kit from a singke machine. It saves you time when u install brakes from a motorcycle or something. There wont be any complications. My sugession...take your brakes to a mechanic and ask him advise to find a effective replacement so you can carry on with your project. ALL THE BEST
