Adjusting Gas Pedals

Our First Kart. Need Help.

I just bought a go kart. The thing is my son cant reach the gas pedals yet. is there a way to move the pedals back so he can reach them?

Put in new pedals further back, attach them to the factory pedals so they move together.

Would moving the seat (?) forward as far as possible let him reach your curent pedals?

I cant make out the pedals in your pic. Someone might have a really easy/inexpensive solution with a better pic of the curent pedal arrangement.

the pedals are off for right now. Im going to paint it. Ill try to take better pics tomrrow.

Naa moving the seat wont work. but the block thing seems doable lol.

My school bus driver did that when I was a kid. She had two 2x4's screwed to both pedals.

I haven't thought about that in years.
