Adjustable rear axle

I was wondering if anyone could show me or tell me how to make a axle that adjusts instead of adjusting the motor to keep the chain tight? I am building a Mini Chopper for the first time and I have seen them but not sure how they work? Below is a picture of the Axle hangers and bearing I want to use

Do you have welder acess/ or someone that can weld it for u.

what you could do is take some 1/4" steel flat stock and drill a series of holes in a line on both sides of the frame. make sure they align up. and weld tabs onto the axle hangers and have like 2-3 holes on each side. and put a quick connect pin in the holes when they are aligned up. you would use at total of 4 pins, 2 pins on each side.
