I just picked up a Dingo IX, two seater 10 hp tecumseh. It has a series 40 comet TC. Has anyone hear added one of those ~$200.00 FNR gearboxes to one. Would it be fairly straight forward project? Any other ideas for adding reverse? Maybe some sort of small geared electric motor from a surplus place . Would an electric starter and ring gear from a 9hp clone be powerful enough.
