1991 kool bore. 10 bucks from classifieds. Original owner have the receipt. Swapped to a predator as it had carb issues and he bought new china carb. Little idle and gov adjustment and a very nice runner. He said he used it basically once a year but not every year. Runs great. Tank is little rusty inside. Not terrible. Gas was clean.
I put old 74 shroud on as pull rope was broken on original. I changed cord but not quite right. I love these old flatheads.

what's weird is it's non points, but still the old style ball starter. I thought that went away in late 80s.


either way this brings me back to the early 90s on a fun power kart.

It is a short shaft but it's .75 and clutch is almost full engaged on keyway.

Now living on a doodlebug did refresh this morning. No pics. Got all carbon off top end cleaned head same way. New plug. Cleaned ball bearing starter. Retapped the fine thread SHORT SHAFT! with a coarse thread grade 8 bolt haha. Short shafts can work and do work with a clutch. Wish I knew this a year or so ago. I tore down a nice one since it was short shaft. Still have everything though. Enjoy.
