I went to the Alliston Potato Festival to take in some lawn tractor racing- inspiration. Spotted this. Ain't it grand?

A baby tow truck/tractor!! Novelty score,10. Conversational value,10. Use on various types of terrain? Kinda undetermined; the rig it's set to tow could be recovered with a two wheeled dolly/ hand truck. What it could do off road is yet to be determined.... And yes, I'm kind of biased; a former Ag fertiliser/ chemical contractor for my family's farm generated TWO separate towing bills in excess of $8500.00 in one day because they couldn't seem to understand that standing water means mud. I missed the first tow before lunch; I caught the second when I got home from work. When you bury a double bottom semi as well as the fertiliser spreader and have to call one of the biggest wreckers on your side of the state to pull your junk out, you're a moron. At least I got to see that wrecker in action on someone elses tab.....

Don't mean to be prickly-er picky-what kinda sh*t are you talking about. Either way it's spelled fertilizer around here and I should know, most folks say I'm full of it.

They were spreading lime & potash that day; that means a dry box spreader truck, front end loader, and the semi's to deliver the bulk matl. Over the course of the day, they buried the semi both times and the spreader on the last run, trying to avoid another towing bill.

That's one hard core mower

Is it 6x2 or 6x4

If anyone wants to see some serious tow gear and some seriously stuck gear then go on the mining mayhem page on Facebook

I honestly don't know if the rearmost axle is driven. I wouldn't be surprised if it was, and I could see how it could be very easily done.

I wonder if that guy knows this guy? I suspect they're actually related. Maybe an uncle-brother, or something... :roflol:

Big enough to fit the whole family (grandparents, cousins, etc) but would have trouble pulling a U turn on an 8 lane freeway... :lolgoku:

:lolgoku::roflol::roflol::stir: You know Tony, if there is a probation period for moderators...... Well, lets just say you might want to watch out for international deliveries......:cheers2::thumbsup::popcorn: (You need to remember to cut O'l Doc a little slack; ragging on his immediate family while he's under the influence of some serious meds can lead to trouble.....)
