A rough start

yea yours looks like a whole lot better start than mine haha I really really really wanna get the frame done and finished today but thats alottta work so we shall see, I worked almost all night on it.

haha this is true but I dont have a truck so I had to open my trunk and tow strap the sucker in to get it home because the dude was supposed to drop it off then flaked and when we put it in my trunk both front wheels and the seat fell off haha. Literally there wasnt a single tight bolt on the entire kart every single bolt was just barely threaded on.

haha. so what do you want to do to the frame mod wise? like paint and stuff.

Well for now I'm just stripping it all down to fresh metal, no rust, no paint, etc left on it then gonna etch it, seal it, and gonna spray it a metallic gunmetal then clear it... later I'll prolly do something cool with it but for now this will do the job. I kinda wanna paint the frame some crazy neon color later then do black body panels on it but thats for a later day.

Well I found a complete crashed but running 97 Yamaha Royal Star for $100 it has a 1300cc V4 haha kinda thinking about it

Here is how it sits as of now... I ordered a new steering shaft and will be ordering new tie rods and steering wheel soon. Looks like I have a trade lined up for a complete ZX6r so that's gonna be the new powerplant, a little bigger than I wanted but it should be fun
