a question about a dirtbike....

I just got a honda 1979 xr 80 for my kids.. it seems to run great no smoke starts just fine.... but has a ticking noise seems like its iin the top end? any help would be great...

Timing Chain is probably loose. On some engines these it a bolt you tighten to tighten up the chain. Look it up on your model.
