Hi, DIYGK Members.
I am currently working on this project, an idea slightly different in wooden diy go-kart frame builds. I've attached pictures of my prototype to share, your comments will be greatly appreciated, if not useful. So please feel free to express your thoughts. For now I will be posting photos, so you can say! what you see in the pictures and join in the thrill, helping making a little surprise this Christmas for my two, four year old grandson's.

@Hellion: Yes, it's going to be electric powered with smart battery management system to safely regulate power output for the little ones.
