A idea

I know I joined in sept but I have a small idea for the site. A chatroom where we can ask small question that someone could have a quick answer so there's not so many tread with People asking a simple questiOn that could be answer by one person quick. I am one of those people it's just a idea thow. We could have like 3 chat rooms one for gokart, one for minibikes/minichoppers , and one for electronic gokart. Let me know what you guys think. MrGrim, That was tried but it died out as fast as it started. So many of us are on differant time zones that it ended up be the same as posting in the forum. Also when someone went in and didnt see anyone in it then they just leave and wouldn't stick around. I think I sat in it for two hrs once and no one came in.

something like that could go on the main page, or have a page for it, that will post guests' questions to a thread/section labeled Q&A or questions left open, each question will just post in the thread with SPECIFIC info to tell the guest whats up. once its been solved take the post out.

an individual chat for peer-peer convo's isnt a bad suggestion too

I like that idea of individual chat. Something like wat facebook has going. Already at the bottom of the page it says who is online so if you could just do something so like where it says who's online you clicked they're name ndit started a chat session with them. Like if I saw that tman was on and I had a quick question I'd just ask him. That way he doesn't have to sit there for hours waiting for someone because there's always at least 1 person online. Also you could chat while navigating thru the forums and threads would be cool. Like off to s siide somewhere would be your convo so its not in the way.

hey,just to bring this thread back to life.has anyone ever heard of xat chat?
its really easy to install on a web site.just 3 easy steps
1. regester and make a chat box
2. copy the embeded html
3. paste it onto your site.

and viola!you have a chat box and it doesnt make the site you put it on lag! and there is a really easy way of making moderators.you just simple click on there name and chose "make moderator" and there is also a system of kicking out of the chat for a little bit and banning from chat.the site to do this at it xat.com
