I have a buggy im building and its almost full size, if not it is. I was looking around and wondering, what front suspension would be strong enough to take a beating and i would like pics or any design that would be recomended. I also need a chain tensioner for this engine which it is a honda shadow 750 which its about 55 hp. any one know where to get one or would you just sugest building a jackshaft because my sprocket is not right at the pivot point of the trailing arms here is the link to the pics of the buggy in the project log

theoreticly speaking, you could fab your own using the paralelagram method ( two A or H frames ) a chain tensioner can be done with a skateboard wheel and a a hefty spring and jackshafts are a good way to go. theoreticly.

How would i lock the wheels on the axle without them sliding? Same with the barrings on the end of the trailing arms to keep from sliding around? axle is 1 inch all the way down

Okay, now I have been trying to find a way to hook up a sway bar, I cant see what to do that wont catch on the engine... And is a 1'' live axle too weak for that kind of kart?
