Just throwing out his upgrades, so y'all can make stuff more fun.
He has a 36v EZ-Go that he put a 48v controller on, and replaced all six of his 6v batteries with 8v batteries. The thing pulls wheelies and goes like 35mph.. Yes, the motor is overdriven by 12 more volts, but his has held up. I suppose the determining factor for failure is how long you held it at wide open.
