Well after talking to my dad he thought of all your points, he just said it will be a pain in the *** by cutting welding, so I'm going to try to sell the engine for a good amount and I'm looking into Briggs Animal M series quarter midget engine, I just can't find the dimensions of the preset wholes, so I have no idea if I can get it on, it's the engine BMI sells, as you can see I posted a picture of my motor mount now. Any idea if this can work

Whats so hard about it?
I cant imagine cutting and welding being that big of an issue. ?

It would be alot easier that what we did for a kart I have.

These were made to slide the engine over.

If anything, keep that Honda for another project.

All 4 of the Briggs Animal series engines will fit your motormount, but don't buy the M-series. It has a splined output shaft and can only be used with a gear reduction unit that cost extra. If you want an Animal engine from BMI, I'd suggest their Local 206 model: http://www.bmikarts.com/Briggs-Animal-Local-Option-206-Racing-Engine-_p_746.html Its got a standard 3/4"-keyed output shaft made to fit/install standard clutches or torque converters. The local 206 also comes with a pull start, (M-series doesn't have a pull start, they're made for using an electric kart starter)

PS: If you wanna use your GX270, you guys could install this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAP...7409&item=190807937409&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
