It’s a blast. It feels much faster than 80 because you’re so low to the ground. However the kart frame is designed for even higher speeds so it feels remarkably stable. As for the motor size, I believe you’re correct. It’s somewhat overkill. A smaller motor would be much lighter which would definitely assist with longer drive times. Working on a new drivetrain and battery pack now. Really appreciate your questions. Hope you and your family are safe and healthy.
