6hp Path Winder kart needs help

I just scored a 6hp path winder kart. I had to do a little tweaking to get it to run corectly. Now that that is done I need to focus on the axle. The drive side is bent a little. So, I was trying to take it out. What a PITA. I took the nut off both ends. I removed some allen screws, and also the 2 bolts that hold each bearing on either side. I can't budge the axle. I am almost at the point of cutting it in half and getting it out that way. Can someone help me please?
