Looks like fantastic fun! We've got a stock minimoto that I restored this year, but my 6yo would have to practice more to pilot that one.

My son needs practice too. We have also been talking about throttle control, riding the brake, approach angles, etc. This thing will blow off the tires with too much throttle and lock them up with too much brake. It will take practice to master this thing. You can see in the video he's pretty much on and off the throttle on this first test run. I was debating programming the controller to reduce wheel spin but decided against it. I want to give him full control and learn how to control it. He's always gotten a good grip on his other cars which are similar so I'm confident it will happen with practice. Pretty cool to watch the process too, kids pick things up very quickly.

I just bought the minimoto kart too, upgrade from the razor. On the video, I can't figure out where did you mounted the batteries?
