Hey hey
I have a Carter 150cc buggy that I got cheap ..... it's missing the ignition switch and emergency kill switch
Today I went and got a 3 wire ignition switch with key but the place didn't have a kill switch so I'll have to improvise

Wire diagrams show me the ignition switch recieved the Y/R .. G/W .. and G wire

The kill shows me the G/W and the B/W wire

The B/W wire goes to the 2 point connection on the CDI box .... should there be power going to the B/W wire ?

I want this motor to spark so I can start the engine

Thank you for any and all assistance

Awesome
On my connector there is only 3 pins being used .... there are apparently 2 ground source wires... green and G/LG ... I wonder if since the G/LG wire is missing would cause me no spark ?

It is possible. I'm not sure how the rest of the vehicle is wired, but it'd by with a try running a jumper wire from the first ground over to the second and then re-checking the spark.
