Hi there, I plan on purchasing a 6.5HP powerfist engine for my go-kart project, I am going to wait until it is on sale for $100. I want to do just basic mods such as:

Govenor removal
Straight pipe
K&N Air Filter
18lb Valve Springs

Will i need to put billet fly wheel + rod? what if i dont rev it so high? to break it in i just take it easy for the first tank of gas right? how about jetting? I kinda dont wanna go as far as billet rod + fly wheel but only if i need to. Maybe somthing like this? anytips or suggestions? thanks for reading. how about this performance kit + govenor removal?http://www.affordablegokarts.com/mm..._Code=A&Product_Code=BK1&Category_Code=GGBPKK

You can make your own header easaly... if you dont want to tho that package should be good for starters.

Ontario sucks! We NEVER see those engines at that price! What, the Ontario Dollar isn't on par with the bloody BC and Alberta dollars! AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!
Okay. I'm done. And now back to your regularly scheduled topic.

i wouldnt put 18lb springs on it.. no need for them at those mod levels.
keep stock springs on.. it will run just fine.

drill main out to .036" pilot to .020" run filter adapter and filter and a header..
remember longer(smaller dia) pipe helps LOW END short (large dia) helps higher RPMS

Goodluck with the build
