What you need to do is buy a flywheel key, which will effectivly advance your timing by moving your flywheel forward. They're cheap (like a few bucks), and you can get them in varying degrees (anywhere from 2 to like 8). ;)

I've been looking all over the web, and haven't found them. Went to Napa, Cooks hardware, and True Value. Nottathing. I'm not sure whether I am blind, or what. Pretty frustrating.

Actually, I have found some online, but they are either not for my Tecumseh, or I can't get any specs at all.

None that I know of. You could always try to make your own... shave them yourself.

Just remember, the more advance you go, the more the chance of needing higher octane gasoline.
