Ok now that that is out of the way...
I originally got the idea for this from this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=548qCuDHe_Q
I dont have any pictures from when I made the actual quarter ring but after seeing that the ring turned my girlfriends finger green (should have looked harder for the right year of quarter to prevent that...) she started wearing it on a chain which gave me the idea to make more coin charms.
Hopefully my pics will upload properly and you can see that I made 2 of each Nickel, Penny, and Dime charms similar to the way he makes his in the video. The only difference from what he does is that I started each coin on the "Anvil" part of a vice then I would clamp it loosely with a small C clamp and use a small sledge in place of the "anvil" (it gave me more room to roll the coin back and forth as I worked it). I then drilled an 1/8th (I think that was the size) hole towards the edge of each one and finally polished the edges up with a dremmel. I won't have any pics of the complete thing for a while but I do have some of just the new charms on a piece of wire for now.
Let me know what you think and if you have any questions!
