Well, it is a long story, but basically my son is getting to the age where he wants to help Dad.
My grandfather gave me his 1985 Suburban 454/400 2wd that was his tow vehicle for years.
I converted it to 4x4, cut the back off and welded on a Blazer back, so it would be a convertible and I was running Rockwell axles.
Well, I came to a crossroads and decided to liquidate all of my projects and start over with my son.
I have a nice Hobart Handler187, Blast cabinet with Soda ability. and a portable blaster as well, with a Quincy Vertical 60 gal to back them up, Hobart AirForce Plasma, presses, parts washer, grinders, etc.....
I just scored a Manco 415 with crappy B&S with the vaccum type carb on it.
I also scored a Kartco 475 with Tecumseh OHV 6hp motor.
Both motors kinda run and I got them for $100.
Manco is getting a quick and dirty and going to be sold.
I am going to totally rebuild the Kartco with my son.
Based onn the info and parts available, that may seem basakwards, but the Kartco has a roll bar.
It bolts in, but as soon as I get everything the way I want it, it is getting welded and gussetted.
I hope to have these done in a few months.
I live in East Houston, work downtown, drive a 05 CTSV, wear a suit during the day and grease when I get home.
Married with 2 kids, love beer and rum.
I look forward to talking with you guys and gals!
Cheers~
