Maybe this is a stupid question but is it possible to get a clutch with a sprocket for a 530 chain?
Or even a sprocket for the end of a jackshaft that's 530?

Not sure yet but I have an axle with a 530 sprocket. The sprocket holder doesn't match up to a kart sprocket & the shaft is larger than 1". Just looking for options.

I never heard of any clutches but you might find some sprockets for a jackshaft by searching at on-line, Industrial sprocket dealers.
Or you could buy a 27-tooth /#530 blank to mod here: http://www.gokartgalaxy.com/sprocket_blanks.htm

Max torque my be able to make you a custom #530 clutch, but I'm not sure how much torque their clutches can hold. It would probably be cheaper/easier to convert to #35. Your engine is an industrial engine right?

#50 sprockets work with #530 chain, and they are available in standard inch/metric keyed bores.

I think you would be better off just converting to a high quality #35 kart racing chain. More clutch options available, should be plenty strong, and weighs much less. What type/size crankshaft does your engine have?

It's 1" & Im pretty sure 1/4" keystock.
I was thinking of getting a blank 35 sprocket & drilling out the bolt pattern on the drill press to match my holder. I will have to be careful to get it right tho. The 530 sprocket that's on it is 4 bolt & the same bolt spacing as the yerf dog bolt spacing. Very close to my kart sprockets already. I might be better off just boring one of those out a bit first.

Good Idea.

Or, this online shop: http://www.gokartgalaxy.com/sprockets_&_sprocket_hubs.htm stocks lots of different sprockets that might fit your hub.

Their prices are kinda high, but that shop stocks more types of sprockets than any other place I know, they also post pretty good info about the bolt-circle measurements.

That shop stocks Azusa brand sprockets, so If you find the sprocket you need at that site: Use their exact part number, but simply add the word "Azusa" into a google search. By doing this, you might find that exact same sprocket sold at another online shop for a lower price...

You can download the Azusa parts catalog here too: http://www.azusaeng.com/
