5 hp clone vs 6.5 clone

hi all i got a 5 hp clone today real cheap well i think any way it needs rings and a bit of a clean up but for 10 bucks i think that okay:confused:
so the no is lt-168f i googled it and found it to be a 5hp clone
i all so noticed the 6.5 clone lt-168f1 has the same bore and stroke and same compression.
so were does the extra 1.5hp come from is it the cam or carby or mabey govened an bitt later and if so can i make it a 6.5 seens im going to give it a quick rebiuld rings,seals,gaskets and mabey the mains as well it will more than likley go in a dirt kart

okay after talking to my mower shop mate i found that oscaryu1 is rite stroke and head are the diffrence and the crank from the 5.5 wont fit as the cases are diffrent to alow for the extra stroke as they use the same rod so i will just make a nice running 5.5 with a few mods thanx guys and this is not the first time i have bean miss lead from chinease adverts
will i ever learn

Yes the crank and head are different on a 5.5 vs 6.5.....however the smaller 14cc are a desireable item........IMHO a 6.5 crank(same mfg.) will fit right in! the deck hight is shorter on a 5.5,there fore check all clearance's,,,,,,shoud go right in with no problem's.....:thumbsup:

6.5 crank will not fit in a 5.5. Requires grinding and rewelding of crankcase to make room for counterweights.
