Howdy & :welcome2:

1.) If "it's" powered by gas, it's an engine (Internal Combustion Engine)
...& if "it's" powered by electricity, it's a motor

2.) 350W = ~1/2 HP
...even if you use (4) of them, it would only = 2HP

3.) How would you attach the front (2) to your steering wheels?

im 14 years old and i have interset in gokarting. I have 4 motors which i metioned at the start of the converstation each rated 350w 24v. i have some thoughts about what can i use for chasie(idk what they called) and when browsing in youtube i came across a guy which uses shopping cart for it. and i think why i cant do it.
heres the cart i think about to use but when you mentioned that my motors gonna have a total of 2hp i think 2 hp is not enough. I probably need more bigger motors.

so what are your thoughts about it?

Most of us are located in the USA. If we knew about where in the world you were maybe we could help you out. You’re young and we like to encourage kids and help when possible. Is a gasoline engine any possibility? It is a much easier first kart to build.

FYI:
Here is a video of a "hand controlled" (no steering wheel) kart I built ~5 years ago. :cheers2:

It is motivated by (2) 24V 350W electric motors
...& powered with (2 12V 12AH SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries

it looks nice but how do yo managed to run 24v motors from 3 12v batteries connected serial? with control unit?

Um...oop's it's been a while since I built, that kart :innocent:

IIRC it started off with the (2) 24V motors (& 2 12V batteries)
...but, it wasn't very powerful
...&/so, by the time I did this video, (I think) I had upgraded it to (2) 36V motors, that were powered by (3) 12V 12AH SLA's :cheers2:

Here is the upgraded version :cornut:

It's called the Land Speeder ;)
...& it is motivated by (2) 48V 1,000W motors :2guns:
...& powered by a 48V 50AH Lithium battery module :sifone:

micro, take notice of how FA's motor power is chained to the front wheels. They're much bigger (diameter) than the little rear wheels. I see two advantages to that............ With all that power slamming on, they'll be less likely to spin the tires on unpaved areas, and if there's enough power to worry about, the rear wheels act as a wheelie bar.

In the early 1990s I passed up a chance to go to Istanbul to teach General Motors automobile repair. My wife wouldn’t let me go. It’s a shame I heard it’s a beautiful country with a fantastic history.
