Yep, stick welding will turn exhaust tubing into a big puddle of slag before you know it, flux core welding it isn't much easier. At the time I had a 100amp flux core welder I used to carefully tack the pipes together, and I finished them on the nice Millermatic MIG machine at school, using a pretty low heat setting and a stitch welding method to avoid burning through.

Could i tac it with my stick welder? What cfm carb u got? Is that a carter?

If you're good at welding and using the correct rod/amperage setting, probably. Stick welders don't do a good job of tac welding, especially on thin material.

dude inline six with duals and a four barrel. thats my kind of style exactly what i wanted to do with my sixty pontiac wagon. ran outta time and had projects on the go while doing it. good job
