49cc engine

i have a 49 cc mini quad engine the cheap ones it does not like to throttle up and it does like to idle its hard to start and leaks gas and when it does not leak gas it still wont throttle up any help thanks

Rebuild your carb, replace your spark splug, and hope to god it works. Those china engines are crap.

I have to disagree. I would agree with "Some china engines are crap" but saying all 49cc china engines are crap is a unjust generalization. We get perfect reliability out of ours, and I would have to infer I have some experience with them, considering I race them for 24 hours. We tune them for a 35:1 fuel-oil ratio, because we get more out of our allocated fuel (in theory), and it provides added engine protection. For one 50minute stint I did to get us into the top 10, I ran it hard enough to prevent starting for a half hour-no internal damage. They are a reliable workhorse if you treat them properly.

Just like every engine, if you run them into the ground, to an early grave their sent.

Ok not all china engines are crap, but when i hear mini quad i think of those really cheap ebay $300 pieces of :)censored:), and those do have bad china engines, some of them like honda clones however aren't so bad.

yeah some chinese engines arnt to bad, i agree some of them are total crap but i had a chinese 80cc on my bicycle and that never let me down!
