NO HIJACKING!!

On a brushless motor, just swap any two phase wires (and if you have their respective sensor wires)
say yellow and blue ..

IIRC
To reverse the direction of these brushless motors
...connect the thick blue motor wire to thick green controller wire
…& the thick green motor wire to thick blue controller wire
...keep thick yellow motor wire connected to the thick yellow controller wire

Then, on the 5 wire plug (thin wires) swap the blue & yellow wires

Thankyou ever so much functional artist it is going forwards :) I have one other small problem I want to be able to connect the forward and reverse switch to the computer/motor/ can i do so with this wiring (check pictures) or do i have to buy a new switch that will go into inverted gear as at the min the are bypassed black to yellow to go forward , but the wires on the connector are far to skinny to go to the big switch which has fat wires green and blue and black and red ?? Pictures have been uploaded many thanks :)

Functional artist after everything working put it all together its not working? Have I blown the motor ? Controller? the wheels were struggling to spin properly if you twisted them it would help them move a bit but not properly.. and the wheels dont spin now lost all power to the motor I think green and blue wires and yellow have any volts going to them but not sure ? Any1 have any simple test methods? Or anything would be so helpful as I've had it working... now it dont spent so many hours an neally bout to buy the motor controller again :(( help

Sounds like you may have mixed something up during re-assembly
...I've done it before :furious2:

As long as you didn't let the "magical smoke" out
...there's still hope :cheers2:

Go thru the whole system, in your head/on paper
...then, go to the kart & double everything

Wait..
you DID swap the controller too, right? not just the motor..

otherwise you likely burned your controller by now

Functional artist I have thats why I'm still so puzzled by it treble checked it and you helped me make it go forward and I have that in writing i feel like there's no way I have gone rong haha unless computer or motor died.... I have a multi meter? Is there checks on there I can check with computer ? Or is there a straight feed to the motor to the batt I can do to check its working ? I have the indicator light on kart coming on so I think computer may be still alive ?
