Why does the governor arm and the throttle arm go different ways on 420cc preditor

Because that is the way they designed it. No, I’m not trying to be a jerk.

Probably because the governor gear is on the opposite side of the motor .

It's on the sidecover, the 212 has it in the block by the flywheel. So push different ways.

How do you hook up excelrator for go kart ?

The same way as the 212.

The throttle lever works the same way, just use the factory clamps, add return spring, and go.

The the governor arm and linkage to carb operate the other way, but the
actual hand throttle lever works the same way, idle is towards the front,
full throttle towards the back.
