i have an old three wheeled cart with a steel body and doors w plexiglasswindshield fiberglass top and a benchseat thats for two riders.mThe frame is steel and it has a differential rear end,and you steer it with a center bar with a t handle.THIS thing is kinda heavy and i am wondering if that 420 motor has enough lo end torque to get this crate rolling, not knowing the weight i am kinda lost .Anyone know these engines and what kinda of a pounding they can take???.I am not sure of this as the right choice to power this thing, and i am open to any suggestions and input kart people out there have.thanx:roflol::roflol:

Welcome to the forum. Pics of the kart would help us a great deal. The 420 however is quite a powerful engine and would probably be fine for you. You will need a comet 40 series TC for it though

At the price for a new 420cc predator you could get a running motorcycle engine on craigslist with better performance
