Would anyone know the difference between a 30 series driven and 40 series driven pulley width (jackshaft) length? I feel the 40 series is at least 1/2” wider
I had a feeling I didn’t explain what I was trying to say. Not the belt width, the width of the hub part that rides on the jackshaft.the difference is not width it is.....the 30 series is asymetrical ( flat one side beveled the other side)....and the 40 series belt is symetrical ( same angle on each side.
Da redflash
I don’t think anyone ever bothered to measure that. Ever.
Not at all. I have a 1996 Manco Dingo 9 that came from the factory with a Comet 30 series torque converter. The later models came with the 40 series. I would like to upgrade to a 40 series unit. The jackshaft is 5/8 diameter and I’m not sure if it will be long enough to accommodate the potentially wider40 series driven pulley. Please tell me your not trying to mount a 40 series on a tav2 backplate or something similar.
Anyways here ya go. Plus something else you will need.
