Well figured I should start a build thread. So here it is.
My Danger Buggy stated life out as a 1972 Kawasaki 440 cheetah.

Through no action of mine most of it made its way to this buggy. The frame is home made.

I have installed seat belts, and got the motor running way better. Its still far from done.
My list of stuff to fix repair and add include
[ ] Brake system
[ ] Chain
[ ] Sprocket
[ ] Water proof system
[ ] Relocate air filter
[ ] Electric fan & mount
[ ] Small cargo box
[ ] Lights
[V] Helmet
[V] Seat belts

So slow update the axle off and out. New sprocket, shaft collars, and chain. Everything needs cleaned and reinstalled. Pics to follow. And maybe a video

Post some more pics if the drive system please? Nice buggy you got. Looks like a good starting point.

Are you using the sled brake? Or did they put the brake on the rear axle? If it is not on the axle then I would put it on the axle at all cost.

what is the electric fan for? Your engine is 1972 and water cooled? Looks like you have a fan cooled engine. Is the OEM fan working?

Thank you, it Dee still have the sled brake and I am ordering a hydraulic brake system for the axle. I was thinking about fans because it has none. It is a 2 stroke air cooled motor, but the more reading I do on this motor the less I think it will be necessary. Hopefully pics and a video to come tonight.

Slow day but some progress, got everything back together. For some reason lots of slack in the chain, so in goes a pully. I got a video that I need to upload. Hopefully it moves tonight under its own power.
