no it wasn't, i was wrong about it all. if i had to explain where i was wrong, i'd only make matters worse.
from your post above:
i used the calculator, and so long as number of teeth matches tire diameter, you can change the tire and use the exact same roller to get the exact same speeds.
first use 26" tire, 6000 rpm, 26 teeth on axle, 1.5 teeth on clutch
then use 20" tire, 6000 rpm, 20 teeth on axle, 1.5 teeth on clutch
you get 27mph either way
