A weedeater revs at over 5k, makes 1 hp if your lucky.

I once got a bicycle to do 15 mph with the Ryobe using a rather unorthodox (my middle name) drive system. Someday I'll re-assemble it and post some pics.

For a weedeater motor to work at any reasonable acceleration you will probably need about 20:1 ratio, and this wont give very good top speed.

I'll give you a hint. In my research, I discovered that this was first attempted in 1911 with a multi-cylinder engine. Stay tuned...I smell a new thread in the coming weeks.

im not realy looking for anything higher than 10mph at the most

its just sitting in my garoge and collecting dust
and the trike is like a 2 year olds trike
