30 series torque converter green spring

Has anyone ever seen the spring on the driven pulley twist up so it's not even anymore?

That spring has been "unwound".
Most likely the ramps selected didn't match the direction of spring wind.

Got the secondary on backwards?
I am pretty sure I had it in correctly. I swapped it out and after this reinstalled the red spring. Haven't had an issue with the red spring and installed it the same way. Very strange. But I must have missed something when swapping it out.

I think one of those springs is reverse wound. If so that would explain it. As far as I know there is no heavyduty spring for the driven.
