I see some surgical scars on the old engine plate and some newer scars on the current plate. Those do not inspire my confidence that the enigine if not moving under load.
Can we see the welds holding the new channel plate on the original plate? I see one skinny weld UNDER the engine on the PTO side.

Did you want me to post pictures of the parts that I was able to find after the TC blew up?
Yes! Absolutley! We are a sick bunch here. And the rest of hang out here bored so anything blood and guts and oil and grease gives us the satisfaction of knowing " it aint my junk"!
Just joking! We try to stay serious 'round here but someone always has to be a clown!
Seriously, having never seen a TC actually come apart, it would be interesting to see the pieces and listen to our team of clo err ahhh l mean experts give their forensic opinion!
Part failure is often referred to as "blew up"
Took a sh...
Bit the...
Crapped out....
And others, but those events never actually happen.
Now l'm sure we'll get to hear some other parts stuff! Keep it clean!

I will post some pics when. I get home today and take current ones.

Maybe we are a sick bunch but to actually share and document when things self-destruct is a cautionary tale and a reminder to be careful, to take care of our stuff, etc. Here’s a recent example that I stickied because it was so epic:
