The Vespa 150 TAP was an 'anti-tank' scooter made in the 1950s from a Vespa scooter for use with French paratroops (troupes aéroportées, TAP). Introduced in 1956 and updated in 1959. Modifications from the civilian Vespa included a reinforced frame and a 75 mm (3.0 in) recoilless rifle mounted to the scooter (obvs)

Actually isn't that far off base. An Ebay front hub drive wheel, controller + hardware, and a couple batteries under the seat and you have a car show crawler.

I would mod out the Afikim mobility scooter with a riot sheild. You could even use a solar canopy on it and use that thing without ever needing to charge batteries!

Died laughing reading this. Looked closer and at the location of the, er, backblast area. The exhaust nozzle also serves as a nice bun warmer.

Doesn’t the scooter look like one of those bizarrely incongruous MC Escher drawings? The muzzle penetrates the left side of the fairing but the breech end appears to be centrally located under the seat …what the %a$
