3/4" bore #35 10-tooth clutch?

Hi all,

I have a 3/4" bore drive axle with a 72-tooth 35T sprocket.

I'm looking for a centrifugal clutch for good low-end power, so a clutch with a low tooth count. I've been looking around and the lowest tooth count on a clutch with these specifications is 12-tooth.

Does anyone know if there is a clutch that has less than 12 teeth that is 3/4" and 35T?

Or, if it would be easier/cheaper, is there a way for me to change/swap out what I already have in order to be able to use a clutch with less teeth?

the lowest you will find is 12 tooth on #35 because if you put 11 teeth or lower they would need a smaller diameter than the crankshaft of your engine.

if you want to gear any lower i suggest buying a jackshaft or torque converter

Unfortunately, a torque converter is out of the question for now as it would just be too expensive.

Any chance you could direct me to somewhere I could check out jackshafts? I'm not even sure what they do or how they connect to a kart. Would something like this be what I'm looking for?

The Noram Arena clutch is avalible in 9 or 10 tooth:--> http://www.out2win.com/catalog/noram.html#arena

Wow, those are a bit more than what I was expecting. I guess for that price, I'd be better off with a torque converter!
