Hello, has any one tryed to do a 2wd to 4wd swap I have a 200cc 2wd dong fang go cart/buggy and I have got some crazy idea of mounting this thing on a set of Suzuki samurai axles with a set of Razor shocks and taking a 4×4 Honda fourman 500 as power I understand there will be major modifications to the steering let alone the fabrication of the brackets to mount to the axles. I'm looking for my dream crushers out there to tell me possible problem I could or will run into??

You might be ahead of the game just getting a junked ATV or side by side and pulling the drivetrain off of that and fabricating the stuff to fit. Though I think the 200cc engine might be on the weak side and might not give you the power you'll need with the extra parts for the 4 wheel drive system.

Yes I thinking of also switching the 200cc motor with the fourman 500 motor so pretty much be the fourman 500 motor and drivetrain on in the Dong fang buggy with the razor shocks on the Suzuki samurai axles?

Gearing maybe a kicker... the conversion to driveshaft would be key..

If that’s your vision, I say do it.. nothing alil learning curve can’t fix..

Got to say, I'm a little jealous of the toys :D love the truck

How do you like the "dune buggy"? I've looked into buying one. Do you have any pics of people with it for size comparison? Hard to tell how big it is in pics.

Sorry to get off topic :D

If you aren't scared of a little work and fab, I say do it! It may take you some time to complete, but the end result would be very cool.
