i almost have the kart finished, all i have to do is my bash plate, and heat shield.
i have been really busy the last couple of days, i was working on my shifter/ratio/reverse levers, my pedals and lots of other little things.

Help!

so i got the kart finished and i took it for a test ride, got home and the kart got stuck in first gear, when the engine is running it's in neutral but when i kill the engine it stays in first, i have tried rocking it back and forth, flipping through ratios but it still stays in first. does anybody know what may be causing this, or what i can do get it out of first.

i feel so stupid right now, i went to put the kart away, so i drove it into the shed, changed down a gear and it went into neutral, i realized that before i had forgotten which way was up a gear and which way was down a gear, so i had been trying to get it into second before not neutral.
pics will be up as soon as i find the usb cable for my phone.

Looking at your steering? Is your tierods on pitman arm/ link off your steering shaft one mounted lower than another? Do you find your kart turns ones way better than the other as it would be pushing/ pulling one side more than the other hence wheel turning more than other shorter side

my pitman arms are different lenghths to compensate for that. but i do find that the tie rod ends hit each other when I turn to the left.
