250 cc exhaust help...............

K, so I just bought this 250cc buggy, and like 10 min in, exhaust broke off, not to mention the gas tank brackets, both of those, headlight, cross bar, and battery flew off....... yeah, I know, alot of welding time...

Now the question, can I just weld a straight pipe off the motor straight out the back, dont care about the sound, I actually like the loudness, but what pipe should I use, and where to get it, also just use a mig welder and remove the gas tank I assume?

Or should I just weld the old one back on, just better than the last guy tried?

I still have it and it is in good shape, just the pipe busted.

its mostlikely a 4 just put on a straight pipe, but welding it on may be a bit extreme.

Yeah, don't weld the exhaust to the engine. AND the engine is probably aluminium so unless you have the proper equipment it will be very difficult. If the original exhaust was screwed in you can make a slightly better one by tapping two holes, one on either side of the original exhaust hole, and making the exhaust a flange mount one.
