Hey I see a lot of old beat up pocket bikes on craigslist for dirt cheap, and was thinking about getting one to steal the engine off of and put on a go kart/trike or something (dont really have anything set in stone). I noticed that almost all of them have clutches that take #25 chain. So if I were to even try to get one of these engines on a live axle how would I do it considering I can find any sprocket with #25 chain that have a 1inch or 3/4 inch bore. Most of them have hole in them to put on a hub, are there any hubs which are 3/4 inch or 1inch bore.

When I say 1 inch or 3/4 inch bore I mean refering to the sizes of axles it would fit on/

Well if you have a drill or even a welder you can make any sprocket work on a 1" sprocket hub.
The pocket bike sprocket has about a 2" inner circle. You can mate with a regular hub and drill mounting holes.
I have done this before.

Those engines are weak... An oddball chain size... For all the effort... Might aswell get a 212 at your HF...
