or short: the chinese engine does not need ANY belt!

what may need a belt is the attached clutch or torque converter,
and then it depends on type (of clutch or type of torque converter)
and the distance between the two pulleys to tell what length that belt should have.

Best post a pic, most of the times it's as easy as that to answer your question
(I suspect a Tav2 Kit)

Sid's probably right, but just make sure of getting the correct belt symmetry. V-belts are non-directional, put it on any way you can. Asymmetrical belts have one side that's flat, while the other side is half of the V-shape. You absolutely must put it on with the flat side against the part of your "torque converter" that's flat and doesn't move back and forth. Far as I know, that's always the side against the engine.
