That's cool. My feet would get all prune-y standing in the water like that. Can you just buy a wave-runner jet drive?

Like it! I’ve often thought of doing a project just like it. Still in the thinking stage though.

He did all the usual Redbeer'd Guhrawge upgrades to the 212 but the engine was only able to rev to 3600, no higher. Tis probably due to hydrodynamics of the impeller and the consistency of water. If you ask me though, that's a nice safety margin.
Wonder if the powerplant assembly can be made much shorter and more compact? As it is it takes up a lot of interior room for muh tackle boxes and muh fishin' poles!

I doubt it. They are usually multi-stage impellers.

Its cool, and he deserves a lot of credit for his ingenuity. For practically, it seems like it would be a lot easier to buy a jet ski with a damaged hull and transfer the power train to the boat of your choice. Faster and more powerful as well.
