Well hey, there's a name I haven't seen in a while! Thanks for the compliment. She sure would have been a blast in the foot of snow we got last week. Both kids will be back in school tomorrow so I'll have a little time to get some welding done and hopefully get to ride it in the next snow.
As I've said, been busy. Covid, applying to college, general shenanigans. We're getting a dusting tonight, It'll be gone before I can get the mower back together. Just have to ride the dingo then.

Thinking maybe run the exhaust something like this with header wrap the length of the pipe to the muffler, high temp flat black for the muffler. I think it will solve my chestnut roasting problem, and have a unique look at the same time.

Any recommendations on how to run it? The engine will have room to slide forward a bit, and trying to run it underneath posed dragging issues and where it sits now there is only a small portion where it comes out of the engine under my lag, but the wrap should help to some degree.

As far as being dangerous, I have no doubt that a frame designed to run a 6v electric motor being modified into an adult inspired toy will have its dangers, isnt that why we like mini's? (Even though this has the same footprint as a harley trike)

Need more pics/info to be able to offer any routing recommendations
...maybe just adding a metal heat shield (~1"away) will provide some more protection

Yup, I like our mini race cars
...but, anymore I try to "think it thru" & avoid "dangerous" as much as possible

This may work, cut the two pipes with enough wiggle room to adjust the engine and it should keep it low enough to not burn me, but high enough to stay our of harm if I get into rough areas.

That should work just fine. Get it cleaned up and wrapped, then time to move along.

I like that! Nicely fits the look when I think of a bobber.

Thanks guys. Not sure if I'll finish the trike this time around, mainly because I need to purchase a few things and all my money went into that black steel stallion. I'll be working on it still, but may not have a finished build till next build off.

Figured since it's been brought up in other threads I'd show you guys my hold up on building the trike. 7 motorcycles are currently occupying my single car garage awaiting my 10'x16' shed which will be the moto garage. Still got the trike and she's in the shed safe from the elements probably till spring when I can make other parking arrangements for the 6 bikes that are staying. Fantastic build-off this year, and I can't wait to finish the trike for 2021!

I'm down to 6 in a single car garage as of next weekend. One is my younger brothers, one is my best buddy, one is my wife's, and three are mine. They all want to learn how to ride so I'm making it happen, my black steel stallion is of course the king Kong of the bunch, 0-100 faster than I can think about it, and I start floating off the back.
