Do we have any idea what this machine is? Got to say that motor is kick-butt and/or strange. Did CF moto make it (the whole thing)?

Frame and accessories pretty much match my Carter Talon, until the swingarm. My swing arm was built to use a straight solid axel with a sprocket. Hardware even matches.

Does this one have independent suspension in the rear or is it a solid swingarm, just shaped strangely?

So the guy who sold it said it was a 2012 hammerhead. He didn’t have any real info on what it was. I’ve been researching and it looks like it’s the ss250 or gts250 but it’s all pretty much guesswork. And it is independent suspension. Trying to resize images now so I can post them

Also are there parts available on Amazon? The hammerhead site and the scooter site are out of stock for most of their parts. There’s a lot of broken connectors and cut wires throughout the kart but every wiring harness I’ve found on Amazon don’t seem like they would work

Thank you thank you! For the pictures. I had no idea this independent suspension type was used on this frame. (Same frame as the Carter that I mentioned)

Cant wait to copy this when it starts getting warmer.

Also, yes, parts are usually readily available for these go karts.

On amazon.

here’s some more pictures just to show more of what I’m dealing with. In the first picture I’m pointing at a wire and its connectors coming out of the top of the engine, just behind the cylinder. Would that be the magneto connection? I’d like to find where it is without completely dismantling the engine so that if I get a new wiring harness i know where to hook up

Nice lookin rig. Also I don’t suppose you or anyone else would have any links to parts on Amazon? So far when I checked on the hammerhead and scooter website they were pretty much out of stock of most parts. And when I checked on Amazon for wiring it’s been mostly for quads and mini bikes, which if there’s no other option I could splice to work but I’d rather avoid that

Those 4 wires your pointing that? Are those coming from the fnr box. Could be signaling for indicator and reverse lights?

When your taking pics give a close up like your doing, and one a bit further away. Its hard to tell exactly where your at.

I hate to say, but you might just have to start pulling covers and physically chase wires till you figure out what goes where.

You do have a multimeter dont ya?

Ya I’m kinda thinking that’s what I’m gonna end up doing but wanted to ask first in case anyone has done the same. I’ll take another picture of it tomorrow for a better perspective. And ya I definitely have a meter very essential

Machine is definitely a Hammerhead 250 of some flavor. Check out the Hammerhead logo I indicated with an arrow. This video looks very similar to Tucson's. Maybe we can get somewhere now.
