Dude your project is sick! it's not an easy one and It seems tight in that shop. Guess It'll be powerfull with that 900. Where you from? In my area i think I can't make something like that street legal.

Keep one posting pics bro i'll be watching  hope you gonna make a vids of your riding

Cheers mate, it'll be rapid alright :) it's in my garage and its very tight ! I need lots more room but it's all I've got ATM.
I'm from Cornwall England

It's already street legal with a number plate and mot. You buy them road registered over here, I've seen a few converted but they are very bodged, like you can't even adjust the chain ! I've never seen one with a cbr900 most sensible people put a cbr600 in them.
I'm an engineer so its been built at a high standard. Everything's got grease nipples even the throttle, brake and clutch pedal !

Thanks for the comments it makes all my hard work worth it :)

The new clutch pedal I made, as you can see I just copied the original throttle pedal from the buggy.

Clutch pedal mounted, luckily there was enough room for it on the left.
I've seen people just use a clutch lever attached to the gear selector but I didn't fancy holding onto the steering wheel with one hand when pulling away.

The two metal tubes are for the driveshafts as I need to join two different driveshafts together.

Last picture is the diff turnbuckle so I can adjust the chain easily.

Ignition switch and hazard switch moved next to the steering wheel.

Next to do is to mount the bike clocks into the buggy frame

Battery had to be moved from the left to the right as I needed to put the electric box where the battery was.

Electric box all made, I had to make this as I had to put the bike ecu, fuse box and wiring loom somewhere so thought I'd put it all in one place so it's easy to find.

Electric box all finished.

Driveshafts have been joined together with the sleeve I made, they were put on a lathe before and after welding them to ensure there perfectly straight.

Changed the indicators to smaller bike ones and a nice flame coming out of the exhaust :)

That's as far as I've got with it atm just waiting for the driveshafts to be powdercoated, then I can fit them and drive it :) can't wait !!

So then what do you all think of it so far ?

apparently you never got the memo about turning your camera/phone sideways BEFORE hitting record, so that your videos record in standard widescreen format, not this annoying vertical tall poop. lol. our eyes are side by side on our heads (well most of us anyway), so widescreen is the way to go. :)

also, try clicking on one of your video links. notice that when the page opens, the URL at the top of the screen has changed. it now has the word "watch" in the URL. THAT was the link you should have copied and pasted into your post here. the initial links youtube provides you do no not embed properly in the posts here, but if you copy and past the links that have the word "watch" in them, then the videos themselves will embed in your post for everyone to view without having to navigate away from diygokarts.

Oh yea that is better, sorry I'm new to all this lol I've only got my iPhone and iPad to use which isn't great when trying to do technical things online with. I just went on YouTube and copied the link as that was the only thing I could get to come up on the iPad. Ill see if I can find that watch link a min. So next time I should record it sideways ?
Thanks again mate
