Here in the north east, they'd be asking $900 for that.

Looks like it could use some bigger rear tires...with a 440, that's going to spin those all over the place.

What's so special about these things?

It's a glorified go-kart that has lasted the test of time. Also has endless ways to mod them. And you ride them for 30 plus years. Oh and it's a Honda with parts at a dime a dozen. Not to mention the 250cc two stroke engine.

I recomend stock Ody's over modified ones. The only reason is I seen way way way to many hack jobs. Like the one above probably is.

Have you seen my collection of Ody's and what you can do with them? I have it down to about $600 for a restore of an Ody. $800 for perfect restore. Thats cheaper that what most people want for nice yard karts.

I was not kidding about endless ways to mod them. As far as FL250's go you will never see it all. Each person did it there own way.

Back in the 80's they raced these things all over the USA. If you can find a vintage racer then buy it. It will give you a solid start. If not buy a all original one if you can. It's a great design and will run all day for years on years. You do not need to be going fast in these no rear suspension cars anyway. I find myself riding the stock style ones way more than the modded ones.
