I got a set of them off Ebay and forget what I paid for them.
They were designed for a Honda 2 cycle engine and was able to custom fabricate my own reeds from them.
Carbon fiber sheets are available from a variety of sources including here.
I don't recall the thickness but will measure them and get back to you tomorrow.
Seems to me that reeds were .023" in thickness which means $26.49 for a 11"x8" sheet. Worth it.

It just hit me that Victa's may all be piston ported.
I've only seen two here in the states. Both were 160cc's.
As far as I know they were never imported (to the USA anyway) but instead came from folks who moved here from down-under.

Victas are indeed all piston ported! (see the "Victa mods???" thread for the rest of my reply)

porting, bigger carb, decking head and cylinder if possible, copper head gasket, higher comp piston, bigger piston, expansion chamber, tuned pipe, ceramic piston, ceramic bearings, alky or nitro, the list probably goes on further.

and go with what an o-ring? aren't head gaskets required, due to imperfections in the mating surfaces?

Couple hours and a lot of patience. Much cheaper than getting the head machined, but its not for the lazy.

lap the head and block...

Yeah, use valve grinding paste, not sand paper like alot of people say to.

Remember people, these are lawnmower engines, performance parts don't exist. You can get 2mm over size piston which brings it out too 167cc, pistons are like $16 lol, I'm going to try and adapt a motorbike piston to a Victa once I get such a piston. Even a new standard piston will probably help. I would't recommend not using the head gasket, its about 0.5mm thick and Victas machining was pretty crap there's not much point.

Any 2 stoke that wasn't meant to go too fast(and a few that were) will benefit from taking a ring width from the exhaust port top. My old man occasionally mentions a 125 Elsinore that he took a rings worth out of the exhaust port and re jetted, ran laps around 250s(until it ran away in neutral and blew up).

tassie, oz? tasmania? i had heard of guys enlarging both ports (intake and exhaust) to get more power. they would also modify the port's shape with epoxy to get more bottom end etc.
