Does any know where i can find clutch springs for the clutch on the two speed jackshaft? I'm looking for springs that will engage at a higher rpm than stock. The type of clutch is the one that has two shoes and is held by two springs. the jackshaft works great but just shifts to early. thanxs

try comet, though they don't make em anymore. bmi karts sells what is left of em. if you cannot find any, you might try cutting the springs down say a 1/4" a piece. it will make them stiffer. remember you will have to make new ends to connect them back.

Here's a link to the Noram clutch spring chart: http://host179.ebm.bestsoftwarehost.com/images/2007 NORAM SPRING ENGAGEMENT CHART.pdf

They're not listed on his online catalog but if you email this guy and request the Noram spring part# you want, any of these spring sets should only cost you around $5-shipped: http://www.kartpartsstore.net/servlet/StoreFront (i just bought a 3700 rpm spring set from him last week)

I'd imagine you could order them from any other Noram dealer too but most places dont list the springs in their catalogs.
